Headlights (card #12)

My name is Sam. I have two brothers, one is biological, Joey, and the other was adopted, named Jess by his other family. My parents came and told us that we were going on a trip to Africa. We started packing our packs when our parents called us again. They misprounced  what they meant to say; we were moving there! We shouted with joy. No more hiding from the neighbors and actually go to school.
When we got there with all of our stuff, we were amazed by the giant house; running up and down the stairs, running in the hallways. Then we decided to go outside and play hide-and-go-seek with each other. So I was the first one to count to ten. I went searching after my brothers. I found one in a tree, it was Jess. We turned around, listening to Joey. He was crossing the road when a car came flying by when he got hit. The car left the scene, leaving my brother florid within his cheeks. When the cops came, it was too late. They pronounced him dead. No one knew when the funeral was or where it was going to be. Jess and I had to learn how to be forbearance without him being there.
When the funeral came, the date on the stone stated that he passed away on July 20th, 2016; which was correct. A lot of people went, even the bullies were there just saying that he was going to be missed dearly. I was galling about that, gravity had him now. During the funeral, the trees were talking as the wind swept between them. Before he got hit by a car, my parents were out looking for him a baby lion for his birthday. Now, 5 years later, the lion named Cub is still with us. Growing bigger and bigger, just as Joey's spirit.

Lifetime Hero

A Hero is an ordinary individual who finds                                              the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming                                                                                    obstacles.
                          -Christopher Reeve ("Superman")
No one knows what a hero is or what it means to be a hero. They don't understand the capability of being a normal person who helps someone who got bullied and helped someone recover from that accident(s) that may have occurred. Anyone could be a hero, it just takes the people a while before the finally notice. The person in front of you could be a hero, but you just over looked it. You think you might be a hero, but in reality, you haven't done anything to deserve to be a "Hero".
I agree that people can be a hero, but needs to be able to tell what the person has done. I have helped someone after something terrible happened. She sat there, crying on my shoulder; waiting for the right things to happen. You don't have to be tall, short, fat or skinny. Just be you.
I have helped a lot of people in the past, but I wouldn't consider that I was a hero. To be a hero, you have to believe that you're a hero. Some people see Obama as the number one person on the earth, but what I see is the world dying off and ending soon. I dislike it when someone is nice to some people, turn around and start complaining about how terrible that person is. I go up to that person and confront. I'm not a hero, but others, I am.

Mahatma Ghandi once stated, "I object to violence because when it appears to do good, the good is only temporary, the evil it does is permanent." This means that when you do good, the person will remember the munifation you did; but once you do wrong, they will forget the kindness you did towards them.  They focus only on what you did wrong. Gaia Stone, Birthmarked,  would agree with what the text says because her family going to jail, her father and mother. She was under a lot of stress when they told her that the babies will be an increased to 5 now, instead of 3. It clearly shows when the hatred between people. She was incorriable to do the task, which leads to life is not easy, work very hard for what you deserve and that to always be nice instead of being rude and selfness.
